Google Wallet Membership Cards & Loyalty Cards
Reach Android users with loyalty cards and membership cards that live in the Google Wallet app. No physical cards to print, no extra app to download. In MENA markets like Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq, where Android holds over 80% market share, Google Wallet support is how you reach most of your customers. Revio generates Google Wallet passes alongside Apple Wallet, so one design covers both platforms.
Revio puts your loyalty program and membership cards into Google Wallet passes that Android users save with one tap. No physical cards required. You get the same features as Apple Wallet, including notifications and real-time updates. In MENA markets like Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq, where Android holds over 80% market share, Google Wallet support isn't optional. It's how you reach most of your customers.
Benefits
Key benefits
Android Coverage
Reach most of the smartphone users worldwide. Android holds over 72% global market share, and in many MENA countries it's even higher, including Egypt (85%), Saudi Arabia (67%), and Iraq (92%). Without Google Wallet support, a loyalty program in these markets misses the bulk of its customers. Revio lets every customer take part whichever phone they carry.
Instant Save
One-tap save to Google Wallet from any link, QR code, or web page. The customer sees a preview of the pass, taps "Save," and the loyalty card is added to their Google Wallet app. There's no sign-up form, no app to install, and no waiting. It works the same on Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, and every other Android maker.
Notifications
Push updates and reminders to customers through the Google Wallet pass. Notifications land in the Android notification shade next to other alerts, so they're hard to miss. Let customers know about new stamps, remind them of pending rewards, or send offers during slow hours. Because these come through the wallet pass and not a third-party app, they dodge the aggressive battery optimization Android applies to apps people rarely open.
Auto-Sync
Points and stamps update in real time across all of the customer's Android devices. When a staff member scans a pass, the balance refreshes within seconds. If the customer has more than one device signed into the same Google account (phone and tablet, say), both show the updated balance. The same sync means that if a customer resets their phone, their loyalty card and full balance restore when they sign back into Google.
Process
How it works
Create Your Pass
When you design a pass in Revio, the Google Wallet version is generated alongside the Apple Wallet version. Both use the same branding, colors, logo, and reward structure. You don't design anything twice. One design session produces passes for both platforms, which saves time and keeps your brand consistent across every customer device.
Universal Link
The same QR code and enrollment link works for both Apple and Android customers. Revio detects the device type when a customer scans or clicks, and serves the right pass format. You only need one QR code at your counter, one link on your website, and one code on your receipts. There are no separate enrollment flows to manage for different platforms.
Save to Wallet
Android users tap "Save to Google Wallet" and the pass is stored next to their payment cards and transit passes. After the preview, the save is one tap. Google Wallet is pre-installed on most Android phones running Android 6.0 and above, and on the few devices without it, users are prompted to install the free app from the Play Store.
Unified Experience
Staff use the same Revio scanner for every customer, whatever their phone. The process is the same each time. Point the camera at the QR code, confirm the action, and the pass updates. Staff don't need to know or care whether a customer is on iPhone or Android. That keeps training simple and checkout fast, even at peak hours.
