What is a digital membership card?
A digital membership card is a member card that lives in a phone wallet, like Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It shows the member’s name, your logo and a QR code. It takes the place of a plastic card. A member joins from a link or a QR code and taps "Add to Wallet". There is no app to install. At the door or the counter, staff scan the QR code with a phone to check the member. The card can also carry points or a member deal. Some groups share one card with many partner shops. Each shop scans it and gives its own discount, like 10% off at a café. Every scan is saved with the place and time. So the group sees which members are active and which partners bring them in. You can also send a short message to every member’s lock screen.
