Point & Scan
The phone's camera activates and reads the QR code displayed on the customer's Apple or Google Wallet pass. The scan works in any lighting condition, including dim environments like restaurants or bars. The scanner recognizes passes from any angle and distance within about 10-30 cm, so staff do not need to be precise with positioning.
Confirm Action
The scanner displays the customer's name and current balance, then staff tap a button to add stamps or points. For stamp programs, it is a single tap: "Add Stamp." For points programs, staff can enter a custom amount (e.g., based on the bill total). A confirmation animation and a brief vibration tell both staff and customer that the transaction went through.
